Water Island Productions was founded by Jeff Mizushima. Jeff broke out into the independent film scene in 2009 with his directorial debut, ETIENNE!, which got him featured as one of Filmmaker Magazine’s 25 New Faces Of Independent Film. His other feature films include WHO IS LUN*NA MENOH?, SALAD DAYS and SAKE-BOMB. Since then, Jeff specializes in intimate portrait documentaries, comedies, and photography in the health and wellness field.

Who Is Lun*na Menoh?
Japanese Renaissance artist Lun*na Menoh, creates art using clothing, music and fashion displayed in performance exhibitions. Her sculpturesque dresses, paintings, and musical fashion shows convey a statement on contemporary urban life and individual expression in a commercially commoditized world. The Japanese-American director, Jeff Mizushima follows Lun*na on a 12 year journey showcasing her highly conceptual art pieces which explore questions of authenticity versus deception to expose the truth hidden beneath the garments of our psyche.

A film about the little things in life. After Richard finds out that his best and only friend, a dwarf hamster named Etienne, has terminal cancer, he decides to take his pocket pet on a bicycle road trip to show him the world before he has to put him to sleep.
